Why does there is so much of hype for a scene in a movie made by CGI? Does the hype worth it?

Most of the time it is marketing tack tic and they claim that they have used the best visual experience delivered to the viewers. Hence they get more audience to the theaters to watch at least how it looks. If it is really worth it, then it’s good. But most of the time, it is not good.
